We're open for lunch on Easter Sunday and will offer a four course set menu from 12pm.


The menu costs £35 and we'll have a menu for kids too.

Sardine Cookbook

Alex’s first book, Sardine: Simple Seasonal Provençal Cooking was published by Pavilion Books on June 6th 2019.

The book explores the food of Provence much as Alex’s cooking at the restaurant does - whilst some of the recipes are firm favourites of ours, others work better at home, but it’s all food imbued with the same big, spirited flavours of the South of France.

La Grande Bouffe

A monthly feasting dinner on a Monday or Tuesday night.

On each occasion we cook a regional classic, a special celebratory dish, a menu inspired by a single delicious ingredient or simply, something which we've been wanting to cook.

Sometimes we pair up with friends too.

We buy in great cheese from Mons where Alex used to be a cheesemonger, create new cocktails, and open up some new, interesting wines.
