La Grande Bouffe

A monthly feasting dinner on a Monday or Tuesday night.

On each occasion we cook a regional classic, a special celebratory dish, a menu inspired by a single delicious ingredient or simply, something which we've been wanting to cook.

Sometimes we pair up with friends too.

We buy in great cheese from Mons where Alex used to be a cheesemonger, create new cocktails, and open up some new, interesting wines too.

Events are priced at £45 per person to include all food.

La Grande Bouffe...Bouillabaisse

We're cooking one of our favourite dishes, Bouillabaisse - the absolute king of fish stews - made using the best fish caught off the Cornish coast.

We'll start off with three seasonal French toasts before serving Bouillabaisse in two parts; the first, a rich soup with croutons and a fiery rouille and the second, the fish, with saffron potatoes cooked in broth.

Enjoy a changing Onglet steak throughout the week - available with sides and a sauce included for just £15.


On Monday night's we also include a glass of red on the house, Santé!
