On the 2nd of July we’ll be throwing our own celebration of Southern French Summer, and putting together a no-holds-barred Grand Aïoli.

A celebration of the most famous of Provençal sauces, Aïoli takes pride of place on the table, to be eaten with a huge spread of delicious things. In Provence in Summer there is always aïoli, and it’s the go-to celebratory dish for a little special occasion, a hungry family, or, indeed, an entire village of garlic lovers.

Sardine Cookbook

Alex’s first book, Sardine: Simple Seasonal Provençal Cooking is due to be published by the wonderful people at Pavilion Books on June 6th 2019.

The book explores the food of Provence much as Alex’s cooking at the restaurant does - whilst some of the recipes are firm favourites of ours, others work better at home, but it’s all food imbued with the same big, spirited flavours of the South of France.

We'll be throwing a party closer to publishing date but until then you can pre-order copies online here

Les Plats Familiaux

Get friends or family together over for a lovingly cooked, seasonal southern French feast.

All dishes are designed for sharing in groups and can be offered on their own or as part of a 3 course meal.

La Grande Bouffe

A monthly feasting dinner on a Monday or Tuesday night.

On each occasion we cook a regional classic, a special celebratory dish, a menu inspired by a single delicious ingredient or simply, something which we've been wanting to cook.

Sometimes we pair up with friends too.

We buy in great cheese from Mons where Alex used to be a cheesemonger, create new cocktails, and open up some new, interesting wines.

Group Bookings

For groups of 7 persons+ we offer either a set menu for the whole table or a choice of Les Plats Familiaux sharing dishes.
